Sandwich Shop in Delphi

So-called "bowl" of soup I just purchased for $3.50 (see posted image) I pushed it back across the counter and insisted that I ordered the "bowl," not the "cup." Clerk insisted this was the larger serving, after which I asked if the "cup" was of the same size chicks use to take body shots at the Neon Cactus. She laughed, I was not joking. At this price rate, they are charging a buck-fifty to lick the stirring spoon. I get back to work, and discover they couldn't even be bothered to fill this tiny bowl. That will be my last visit to The Sandwich Shop, and no longer will I be referring newcomers and visitors to our town to that restaurant.

Been here a few times. Never disappoints. The breaded tenderloin is phenomenal. Their fry portions are large and they're service is always friendly.

This shop is the best place to get a burger in Carroll county. Hand cut fries fresh everyday. Fresh all beef patties bought locally. If you're lucky to find a seat I recommend you stop in for a bite.

Enthusiastic and friendly staff with a home town feel. Great food and service. This place has been here for a very long time and still treats customers like they are the best people to walk through the doors. Never a disappointment!Here again as is always the case the food is beyond excellent and the service is prompt and courteous without hovering over you. I couldn't recommend this place more.Food is so good that I never can take the time to take a picture of it.

Great food and atmosphere

The staff here were wonderful! Tenderloin was fresh and good. They were quite busy when we arrived but our wait for food didn't seem to take to awful long. Enjoyed watching our food being cooked.

This one of those places that is like a hidden secret, No, it's more like the pot of gold that you find at the end of the rainbow. A very clean restaurant, the employees were very kind and friendly, and the portions are very good. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich, it was very good, I highly recommend it. The french fries are really good, I ordered the small and there was a big ole heepin helping. I will absolutely be back, and soon I hope. I would give it ten stars if I could!!! 👍👍👍👍👍

My uncle Dan owned this restaurant for many years. The current owners have improved this little greasy spoon into a great little gem over the years. Hand cut fries, burgers, tenderloins, shakes, your usual American dinner faire at a great price. My picture is of a half order of fries!

The Sandwich Shop is a unique dining experience. Nothing fancy but definitely worth visiting. it is our favorite local restaurant. Their servings of most things are large. I am glad I took my servers recommendations and only ordered one pancake.They serve delicious french fries and their bacon and cheese fries are superb.

Love the food however their best sandwich the Philly got replaced by a very disappointing corned beef sandwich that i couldn't even eat.I used to brave the 50/50 chance of getting a seat just for the philly but now i have no reason to go. So sad.

One of my favorite after church places to go. This restaurant is a must if you go to Delphi. It's great food, great prices, and great staff make for an amazing dining experience.

Ladies and gentlemen bring your stomachs. This place is the hidden gem of the town. The atmosphere is friendly. The food is oh so good. Although my daughter and I have not been there for quite some time. It is one of our favorite places to eat when we are out that way. I would highly recommend anybody going out there to eat.

The Sandwich Shop makes the best bacon cheeseburger in Indiana and I'll fight anyone who says no.

I had the Philly Cheese steak and it was great. Next time I am doing to try the bacon cheeseburger.

Order the breaded, fried pork tenderloin sandwich. It's so good. The loaded fries were ok. Supposed to have bacon crumbles, but they were out.

Food is 5 star all day, servers may lack in experience at times but more than make up for it with work ethic. Daily specials on the board are always a real deal. Always a quality meal for a reasonable price.

Had the hot Turkey and ham, was banging. And the service was on point! Will be back!

We spend our football weekends in Delphi and absolutely look forward to eating at this place. Moreso than watching the football game. I recently brought my best friend and made him order the tenderloin, he about passed out is was Soo good. He says, why hasn't Guy Fiera been here yet, and that's when I bout layed him out cold. Gotta keep this well polished gem a gem. There is nothing bad on the menu. My favorite is the Big Man with Loaded fries. Incredible!!!!
